Farmers Market

The Lapel Farmers Market is a local non-profit organization, the Market itself is held at the corner of SR32 and SR13 in Lapel, Indiana.

The produce and items available at the market vary week by week as different vendors provide different items on a seasonal basis.

Market Dates for 2011 (18 weeks, unless extended into October):

  • June 3, 10, 17, 24  
  • July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
  • August 5, 12, 19, 26
  • September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
  • October (will be discussed among vendors)

The market will open at 4pm on these dates and will close at 6pm, people are advised to arrive early in case vendors sell out of produce.

Products available: Apples, broccoli, cucumbers, melons, sweet corn, cabbage, eggplant, pumpkins, tomatoes, beans, cantalope, peaches, beets, carrots, red raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, black raspberries, herbs, peeppers, squash, zucchini, lettuce, beef, pork, eggs, baked goods, jams, jellies, honey, maple syrup, container trees, anuuals, dried flowers, bedding plants, perennials, cut flowers, beeswax, pollination services, custom farm work.

Fee: $30/for the 18 Friday afternoon Summer Season. Booth space size is 12’x 12’.A vender can purchase an additional 12’ x 12’ space if needed. Booth space will not be sold weekly. Fee paid upon registration.
