The Lapel Spring Cleanup is an annual event that will begin in 2011 and we hope continue for many years. The idea of the cleanup is to help the residents of Lapel get rid of old items, recycleable and hazardous materials. The goal is to clear up the town and by making it an annual event we hope to keep it clear.

With the assistance of various Church and Youth groups this week long event should enable many of the residents of Lapel to tidy up their yards, garages and out-buildings.

The First Annual Spring Cleanup is scheduled for the week of May 7th thru May 14th with Heavy Trash Pickup scheduled on the 13th of May. Dumpsters for recyles will be found at the Water Treatment Plant on the North East side of Town during this week.

If you need help with your yard, or have any items you wish to get rid of that are too heavy to move you should call Town Hall on 765-534-3157 to arrange for help during Cleanup week.
